Historical overview, special characteristics and challenges for wireless communication

2. Characterization of wireless channels

Properties and key parameters of wireless channels, radio propagation models, link budget, stochastic models, simulation and channel sounding

3. Wireless transmission technologies

Digital modulation and diversity schemes, equalization, multiple access and duplex schemes, MIMO schemes: spatial multiplexing and space-time coding (STC)
