Laser Ultrasound

Laser Ultrasound is a modern technique for non-destructive material testing, especially for the investigation of solid surfaces. In our lab, we use this method to determine elastic properties of thin coatings (1 – 100 µm thickness). Also, we do research on new physical effects connected with the propagation of guided acoustic waves.
